Products - Fruit and Vegetables

(Last updated on 31/08/2010)

With the sun gently warming Queenstown and the calenderdays ticking over nicely, I realise spring is only weeks away! Besides shrinking heatingcosts and the absence of layers of high tech winterclothing, the other good thing about that is that NZ produce will start taking over again. We eagerly await the days when the winterprices go away again untill next year, and your favourite produce is affordable again! We are not quite there yet unfortunately!

Vegetables

Small quantities of red chillies should become available by the end of this week. No promises yet though!

Bokk choy is available again, but seeing the quality still has to improve, we will stock Pakk choy for the next week

Spring carrots are fresh in from today

Asparagus available but pricy

Cucumbers have gone up in price again

Fruit

Mangos will be in short supply over the next forthnight, as will be watermelon

Capsicums will come down in price this week, as will loose tomatoes, with more NZ gear becoming available

Small pre pack basil available
